About the Author
Laxmi Narayan Meena
The author belongs to the same community, the Meena tribe, mentioned in the book. He is the first IAS officer not only from the community but also from the geographical area of Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Dausa and nearby districts of eastern Rajasthan. Hence he is a trendsetter for the current academic awareness in the community.
Having done is M.A. in Economics from Rajasthan University, Jaipur, he started teaching subjects related to field of Economics & Commerce in various Government colleges of Rajasthan. The turning point of his life came when he got selected for IPS in 1967, though he completed the traning as an IPS officer, the ultimate dream of the man came true with getting selected into IAS the very next yr of 1968. He joined the service in Madhya Pradesh cadre. And served the people in various capacity with MP Government.
